Idol Gets Really Interesting

The final 12 Idol contestants were chosen by America last week and Sundance and Antonella are not among them. Sundance gave an interview in which he said that Sanjaya Malakar is not very confident in his voice right now, but that he will grow into it and have an amazing music career. Do your thing, Sanjaya, but stay away from the flat iron. Please. Antonella is sticking around Los Angeles for a couple of weeks so she can strike the iron while it's hot. Overshadowing them all, however, is former Idol contestant Mario Vasquez, below. Back in 2005, Mario abruptly dropped out of American Idol after he had made it to the top 12, citing "personal reasons." Friday, a lawsuit was filed against him and the Fox network, the show, etc. by an accountant who claims he was fired after he complained about Mario's sexually aggressive behavior towards him. Magdaleno Olmos alleges in his lawsuit that Mario followed him into a bathroom stall and masturbated in front of him and tried to get it on with him and blah, blah, blah. Holy Idol Scandal!
