Eight Years Later
Once upon a time, the advertising geniuses behind Budweiser created a campaign that became a staple of popular culture. The "Waaaassssssuuuuupppp" commercials featured a group of Joe-Six-Pack actors and made a lot of money for Anheuser-Busch and its distributors such as Cindy McCain, whose individual wealth is an estimated $400 million. Anheuser-Busch was purchased by Belgium-based giant InBev over the summer, but what happened to the original actors that made it all happen? The answer is above.

The Barack Obama Roll
Now that Senator Obama is on a week-long vacation with his family, the YouTube generation has stepped in to fill the void of press coverage. The original video has so much traffic at the same time that it was pausing and reloading so we downloaded/uploaded it here for a smooth ride. Enjoy. Oh, and big thanks to Baron de Bubba for keeping us all in the loop with his informative posts. Rock it out, kid.

After All, Tomorrow Is Another Day
For the first time ever, Bob Dylan has publicly endorsed a politician. Dylan told The Times of London, "Well, you know right now America is in a state of upheaval. Poverty is demoralizing. You can't expect people to have the virtue of purity when they are poor. But we've got this guy out there now who is redefining the nature of politics from the ground up — Barack Obama. He's redefining what a politician is, so we'll have to see how things play out. Am I hopeful? Yes, I'm hopeful that things might change. Some things are going to have to." Following the interview, Dylan shook hands with the reporter and as he walked out, turned and said, "You should always take the best from the past, leave the worst back there and go forward into the future." Obama Clinton '08
If you're anything like us you don't watch a lot of television, so you most likely haven't seen the "3 am phone ringing" commercial that everyone is talking about. Hillary won 3 states this past Tuesday but we guarantee it was not a result of this advertisement. It doesn't even make sense, right? Girl's gotta get her game on, or throw in the towel. If she loses Pennsylvania on the 22nd, it's time for her to concede and ask Obama to choose her as his running mate. That would be a hot ticket.

Happy Leap Year, Yo
Sales of Dreams of My Father and The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama have tripled in February with more than 35,000 copies purchased each week. Books by Hillary Clinton and John McCain have averaged less than 1,000 a week. Will.i.am just released another video called "We are the Ones," just in time for the Democratic primaries in Ohio and Texas this Tuesday.
We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Yes, We Can!
We will remember that something is happening in America. This is officially our new favorite song. Scarlett shows off her voice, Taryn Manning makes an appearance, as do Common, Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls, John Legend, Nick from October Road, will. i. am., Michael from Lost, the hot guy from Without A Trace, Claire's boyfriend on Six Feet Under, and of course, the man himself - Senator Barack Obama. Indeed, we can.
