Ed Bradley 1941-2006

Sunday evenings just won't be the same. Ed Bradley died yesterday at the age of 65 after a long battle with leukemia. In 1972, Mr. Bradley was wounded while covering the Vietnam War and went on to become the first African-American White House Correspondent for CBS News. During a career that included 26 years on 60 Minutes, Bradley received 19 Emmy awards including one for lifetime achievement in 2003. Yesterday, President Bush called him "one of the most accomplished journalists of our time." Bradley leaves behind his wife Patricia.
