In Honor Of Cassius Clay

Are you fucking kidding us with all the drama in h-town lately? Holy shii-ite. Whitney's back, so is Britney, so we're thinking that collaboration may be on track. Sweet. Whit-Whit met up with her Bodyguard costar, Kevin Kostner, at a Cassius Clay charity event last night. We would have used his new name, surname Ali, but we could not figure out how to spell Mohhamed. Plus, the Romano family had a dog name Cassius when I was growing up. Names aside, Whitney will always be Whitney. Welcome back, love.

Friday Night Fun

Big shout out to the guys at Koo here in Ridgefield, CT. You totally rock.

E is for Elza

Our song of the day, and for most days actually, is This Is Love by Elza. Her new album, Gettin' Free just came out and it totally rocks. So much so, in fact, that we couldn't even wait for her video to show up on YouTube and spent a large part of our weekend creating the above. The Royal Puppies, Max and Maddie, are debuted as well as the adorable Devyn and Cassie. Check out a preview of Elza's album here. It is so our spring of Oh-8 music.

I'm A Cowboy, Baby

Holy comeback. Kid Rock followed up his quickie marriage to Pamela Anderson with a monster album. The above video for Amen is oh so very, very good. Rock it out, Kid. Enjoy.

Obama Clinton '08

If you're anything like us you don't watch a lot of television, so you most likely haven't seen the "3 am phone ringing" commercial that everyone is talking about. Hillary won 3 states this past Tuesday but we guarantee it was not a result of this advertisement. It doesn't even make sense, right? Girl's gotta get her game on, or throw in the towel. If she loses Pennsylvania on the 22nd, it's time for her to concede and ask Obama to choose her as his running mate. That would be a hot ticket.

Disney Does Ridgefield

This past summer, Disney rolled into our little town and filmed scenes for the movie, College Road Trip. The movie opens this Friday in theaters and stars Martin Lawrence, Raven-Symone (of The Cosby Show), and Donnie Osmond. The crew turned the house next to our office into a Bed & Breakfast for the film, and you may get a glimpse of us in the background. As if wouldn't they edit us out or anything. Anyway, rock it out, Ridgefield.

Hello, I'm Baba Wawa

ABC News is premiering The Royal Family tonight on 20/20 and it looks awesome. The special is made up of BBC footage filmed over the course of a year. Thanks to Barbara Walters for bringing us the hotness that is Prince Harry, and for letting us watch Her Majesty ask, "Less Dressy?"

Live From New York, It's Saturday Night

In case you missed it, the opening sketch of this past weekend's 'Saturday Night Live' is above. Amy Poehler is brilliant as Senator Clinton, and Hillary's appearance makes us kind of like her...or at least not dislike her as much. It takes a great sense of humor to open a show after a sketch refers to you as annoying and Poehler says, "Life is too short to deal with this awful woman." The Syracuse references and Vincent D'Onofrio stopping by add to the fun. Enjoy.

Ridiculously Entertaining

Sarah Silverman and Matt Damon are totally hilarious in this video, I'm Fucking Matt Damon. The response, I'm Fucking Ben Affleck, is the funniest thing we've ever seen. Brilliant.

Happy Leap Year, Yo

Sales of Dreams of My Father and The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama have tripled in February with more than 35,000 copies purchased each week. Books by Hillary Clinton and John McCain have averaged less than 1,000 a week. Will.i.am just released another video called "We are the Ones," just in time for the Democratic primaries in Ohio and Texas this Tuesday.

We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Imagine If A Real Singer Won American Idol

American Idol saved the best for last tonight and closed with David Archuleta singing Imagine by John Lennon. As we haven't been able to watch this season, we were pleasantly surprised to see Paula Abdul is coherent, and there is actually some talent on the show. By some, we mean one and are referring to 17-year-old David from Utah. Rock it out, kid.

A is for Anniversary

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away...The Royal Nobody Family was born. While we've always pontificated atop the royal we throne, not much else has remained the same. Then we relied on fellow bloggers (Miss Vayie) and lifelong friends (Miss Wendy) to read our dish, and now we actually have subscribers to our dish. Then our readership was 300, now it's 30,000. Then if you had told us that folks in countries like Dubai, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Peru would be reading this crap, we would have said, "Don't piss on our back and tell us it's raining." Now we say thank you. We are ever so grateful to all of you for sharing your time with us. Big, big, big kiss and may you all live happily ever after.

Eden Lord Ups The Ante

Sweet Jesus, Matt has absolutely no luck with the ladies. We love how the hideous August Walden is modeled after Perez Hilton, right down to the coffee shop "office." Hopefully, Hilton will take a cue from the writers of nip/tuck and add some kindness to his routine before one of his victims takes matters into her own hands.

It's Time To Give Blake The Boot

Our girl, Amy Winehouse, has achieved superstar status, and E! just premiered a "True Hollywood Story" to the grammy winner. Prior to getting mixed up with her husband, Amy had a songwriting award for 'Stronger Than Me,' had completed a sold-out European tour, and was healthy and working hard. Since she got together with Blake? Not so much.

Welcome Home

Oh, how we have missed you, dear love. It has been a long time since we last connected and we promise this time will be different. Despite your attempts to keep us by your side in the Dean Eaton dormitory, we went on to graduate college and moved to the big city. Not once, however, have we forgotten what we shared. You, Sonic the Hedgehog, are irreplaceable.

Love Like This

Happy Valentine's Day! The celebration of red and pink hearts has arrived and we want to wish you all the very best for this day of loooooooooove. Here's Natasha Bedingfield's acoustic version of "Love Like This." Enjoy.

Feed Your Addiction

The fifth season of nip/tuck has been a rollercoaster and last week's episode, Lulu Gridiron, was no exception. We are still not feeling the Julia and Christian love affair, but the degrees of separation between the characters is brilliant. Olivia (Portia de Rossi) is apparently still dating Julia, but we see much more of her daughter, Eden Lord. Holy freaky-deaky situation with Kimber, Ram and Eden. And is Julia going to die, or what? We're guessing no, but we wouldn't be sad if she did. We gave up when she slept with Conor's nanny. Yes, the little guy. Enjoy.

Yes, We Can!

We will remember that something is happening in America. This is officially our new favorite song. Scarlett shows off her voice, Taryn Manning makes an appearance, as do Common, Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls, John Legend, Nick from October Road, will. i. am., Michael from Lost, the hot guy from Without A Trace, Claire's boyfriend on Six Feet Under, and of course, the man himself - Senator Barack Obama. Indeed, we can.
